About the Author
Multidisciplinary artist KAWS was first known for his work as a graffiti artist and his subversive approach to popular imagery on bus shelter and phone booth advertisements. This is the first comprehensive survey of the artist’s body of work.
Mónica Ramírez-Montagut is a curator at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum.

Dont know what to say!

I got this book because I enjoy KAWS artwork and I feel that it is high time for pop art to acknowledge him. This book does show you some of his famous piece and goes over his story(history) but I am highly disappointed in that fact that they used newspaper. I was expecting luster pages of his art work and you only get about 1/3 of the book in this format. Its even hard at time to look at the details of his artwork due to the newspaper choose. Please use gloves when handling this book because body oil transfers a lot to newspaper print. I dont know why they did this but I am glad that I did not spend over $34 for this. Next time KAWS dont cheat us! Give us the luster pages! We are willing to pay for them!

Awesome pictures and stories

I may be biased due to the fact that I'm a street-art head, but this is a must own for any Kaws fan. Awesome pictures and stories. It also does a great job cataloging his works pre-toys. It's a great book that I'll have in my household forever.
